About the Bougainvillea picture

Once you have the picture installed as a background or wallpaper, the "flowers" of the Bougainvillea are more than double the size than what it is in real life.

You can see the veins in the bracts clearly. Bracts? Well, the colorful pink "petals" that we see on the Bougainvillea plant are actually modified leaves. These modified leaves are called bracts.


So where are the Bougainvillea flowers then?

There are sets of three tiny flowers within the sets of three bracts. There are no open flowers in this picture. You can however see flower buds. The top right set of three bracts has one flower bud showing. Just below this, there is another set of three smaller bracts. You can see more tiny buds within this set of bracts.

Installing the Wallpaper

You need to know your screen resolution...



Follow these simple steps:

Step 1. Choose the correct image size for your screen resolution.

Do this by clicking on the correct link next to the thumbnail image of the wallpaper below.

Step 2. A new window will open with your selected image. Allow the image to load completely.

Right click on the new image in the new window and select 'Set as background' or 'Set as Wallpaper'.
