 Pink Oxalis
This is a pink Oxalis flower picture. It's a lovely pink flower with fresh touches of yellow and green. (Don't forget to click on the picture to view it much bigger.)
Oxalis is a group (genus) of about 800 plants that is part of the wood-sorrel family of plants. You can find them all over the world. They are known for their acidic or sour taste and that is exactly where the Oxalis name comes from. The Greek work oxis means acid and the Oxalis name comes from the word oxis.
Lemon Geranium Click on the picture to view it much bigger. This is a picture of a lemon geranium. You get a lemon fragrance when you work with the plant. You kind of expect the plant to have yellow or cream flowers. Not so. The flowers are pretty pink with bright orange anthers... those orange pompoms in the flower.
