Lemon Verbena

Lemon Verbena is an herb with tiny white flowers. Its botanical name is Aloysia citrodora.

Lemon Verbena

Although the Lemon Verbena plant is an herb, it’s not a small plant. It can grow up to 3 feet or 10 meters. You can prune this plant regularly if you don't want it to grow that big. This fragrant plant is happy planted in a container or in the garden.

The flowers are tiny although they don't really look that in the picture. They are white with a touch of lilac. They are slightly lemon scented.

The leaves also have an uplifting fragrance. It’s the leaves of the plant that you use to make an herbal tea.

Family: Verbenaceae
Genus: Aloysia
