Giant Gerbera Daisy
Gerbera (6)
What do you do with one giant Gerbera daisy?
The bottles and jars were being clutter cleared just about a week ago. I rescued a lovely bottle from the bottles-to-go in the kitchen. I am all for the clutter clearing thing. But, one person's clutter is another's treasures, I guess. I could not let this berry-vinegar-gift bottle go. I though it was perfect for a long, lo-o-ong stem flower.
Exactly a week later I did get that very long stem flower. The bottle worked neatly for the purpose I visualized.
Display Tip
I think it is a good idea to put some sticky-stuff-of-some-kind under the bottle. The sticky stuff will not necessarily keep it from falling over, but it may just give you the time to stop an accidental bump turning into a cleanup operation.
"Tall Giant"...

About the picture: This giant Gerbera is a very long photography subject. By the time you have the subject filling the frame, you end up with a lot of background space.
You need a large enough background. Well it is large to me, because I am use to smaller flowering subjects. I had to get a background especially for this picture.
What if you don't have a large enough background?
You can take a picture from another angle... but, the subject will look smaller. The picture on the right was taken from another angle, with a much smaller background.
The flower is prominent in this picture, while the bottle is not playing any role. If you didn't know to look for the bottle, you may not have noticed it!
