About the Picture
This is a lavender plant I have featured in my lavender pages. Yes, it is in my garden. The picture was taken in spring.
It is a good thing that this picture is now available as wallpaper. Why? Because there is detail that is just not visible in a smaller format of the picture...
Seedpods in the Background
The background is lawn. But, all over the lawn are large seedpods. They are from a neighboring tree. They make the background interesting, without drawing too much attention.Lavender Bee
The other reason why I like this picture is the humongous bee. I caught it in the action. This bee is not just big, it looks almost furry... inspiration for a cuddly toy. I tend to forget that they could have a weapon!Calming and Soothing
I had this picture as my wallpaper for a long time. It has a calming and soothing effect... just like lavender and lavender oil. I can recommend it, especially if you like lavender.
