Eruca Sativa These are the pretty flowers of Eruca sativa. It's an herb with a white flower. The flower has an interesting shape with gorgeous detail.
I'm using the botanical name of this plant, but it's a salad green that you may know as arugula, rocket, garden rocket, or eruca. Although the flowers are fairly small, I love the fine accents on the flowers that are so interesting. Just look at the petal veins... they are delicate lines that run from the center of the flower down the petals! The pretty flower shapes that you see further in the background are flowers of the same stem on the same plant. |
